Damiana |

Damiana is an aromatic herb native to the
northwestern region of Mexico. It is also found in parts of the southwest US
and parts of South America. Many believe that this herb has aphrodisiac
effects, especially the people of Mexico. This herb also has blood purifying
effects, as well as diuretic and laxative properties. Furthermore, Damiana
had been used historically to treat coughs, colds, enuresis, nephritis, headaches
and dysmenorrhea. Damiana has the following properties:
aromatic, diuretic, laxative, blood purifier, expectorant, aphrodisiac. |
